As previously reported, 星火电竞 submitted an application to the NSW Department of Planning and Environment on the 25th September 2015 for three modifications to the original project approval. In keeping with our responsible approach to this development, these modifications relate to the manner in which ‘Site Establishment’ was drafted in the Conditions of Consent.

In particular we are requesting to extend the duration of the commencement of work period (site establishment) from six to 18 months. This will ensure we can undertake the construction works in a staged manner, which will allow for better management control and minimise disruption to the community and the environment. The modification also includes a request to tie the potential lapsing of the approval to physical commencement rather than completion of site establishment and to properly describe the initial cell construction as Cell 1A rather than Cell 1.
